iSmart is proud to be associated with the most reputed and respected 'World Leader' in delivering a Smart card Based Canteen Management Solution. The objective of this innovative Smart card based solution was to replace the paper vouchers issued by the client for their customers and replace the same with a 'state of the art' solution developed and implemented on smart cards. The solution has now been successfully implemented at various client sites across India giving high levels of operational flexibility and ease of operations for client as well as their client's alike. The e-purse application developed is an electronic version of the voucher system with the advantage of higher security and flexibility. This e-purse was developed on the flashCOS platform (Card Operating System). The card and terminal use secure messaging with command header protection using a 3DES (higher level of security) Mac as laid down in the ISO 7816 - 4 compliant Secure Messaging. The card can support multiple e-purses on it, each having its own set of rules, making it highly customizable and flexible, although at present the only solution that has been developed is the Canteen Management System. For client's back office operations, iSmart has developed an ActiveX DLL that provides all smart card functionalities with 3DES Mac for personalizing a card, administering e-purses and performing batch collection and acknowledgement tasks. This utility has been developed so as to enable client to monitor and administrate their day to day operations.

Project	:	EMV 2000 Compliant MULTOS Smart Card
Credit Mutuel, a leading French Card issuer, as part of their EMV migration strategy, selected iSmart International’s new Visa Smart Debit Credit (VSDC) smart card payment solution, the first such applet to run on the MULTOS platform to provide customers and merchants alike the facility to process highly secure EMV transactions. iSmart’s VSDC applet is the first ever commercially interoperable card application to undergo Common Criteria EAL4+ level high evaluation, whereby the applet is subjected to severe augmented security testing and vulnerability assessment. The entire development was completed under iSmart’s highly secure common criteria framework at our development center in Mumbai. The applet, loaded on an Infineon 322P chip, embedded on Schlumberger cards is to be submitted to Visa International for final approvals.
