E-Governance Initiatives

 

 

Zoom Developers (P) Limited Indore an ISO 9001:2000 company, in the area of E-governance initiative has successfully implemented projects for the Computerization of agricultural activities for Mandi Madhya Pradesh and domestic Call center for Complaint Management for the following Clients of State Electricity Boards and BSNL.

The Project scope is to automate and computerize the operations of the Mandi Board across the state of Madhya Pradesh. The objective is not only to improve the effectiveness of Mandi trading and reduction of response time, but also to benefit the farmers, traders and the Government in collection, processing, analyzing and dissemination of information, policy making and revenue collection. This involves identification of the Information Technology needs of different sections of the Mandi like arrivals, auctions, accounting, issuing of licenses, permits, etc., reconciliation of auction, financial transactions, bank fee depositions, generation of daily and fortnightly reports, their analysis, MIS, farmers’ and traders’ profile, etc.


The following services are offered under the scope of work:

  • To computerize the operational and process steps of the Mandi and simplifying the method of data collection and processing. The front-end operation is to execute the Mandi auction process electronically by means of Smart cards and Terminals issued to the various participants and the back-end operation is to process the auction data and prepare various reports as required by the Client.
  • To be responsible for all activities from hardware deployment, networking, maintenance and running the system including the deployment and training of manpower, generation and analysis of reports, providing the back-up power for running the system including Disaster management.
  • To formulate the System software and Application software in Hindi (with an option of English) which would be web-enabled for both text and graphics browsers.
  • To accomplish the following Mandi activities with the use of appropriate hardware, software and networking options to make the entire process electronic and transparent:

Operations, Accounting Operations, Payroll Management, Engineering, MIS Reporting, Elections

Domestic Call Center Experience

1. Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board.

      • Running Indore Call Center having 20 zonal Call Centers spread all over city since Aug 2003.
      • Bhopal Call Center having 26 zonal Call Centers spread all over city and 1 coving O&M area i.e. Vidisha since April 2004.

2. Maharashtra State Electricity Board.

      • Running Bhandup Call Center with Centralized concept of Customer Care Services since April 2005.
      • Running Nagpur Call Center with Centralized concept of Customer Care Services since March 2005.
      • Amaravati, Akola and Nanded Call Center Projects are in Pipeline.

3. Rajasthan State Electricity Board.

      • Running Jodhpur Call Center for Jodhpur Discom with Centralized concept of Customer Care Services since April 2004.

4. Chattisgarh Sate Electricity Board.

  • Running Bilaspur Call Center having 12 zonal Call Centers spread all over city since July 2005.

5. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited.

      • Recently started customer care services for BSNL Bhopal.

Other Projects

Municipal Management System (MMS).

      • Recently started services for Computerization of Municipal activities for Raisen, Bhopal .

Spot Billing Machine (SBM).

      • On line bill Printing mechanism for state Electricity boards consumers has been started for Pune, Vashi and Kalyan circle of MSEB

Graphical Information System (GIS).

      • Successfully executed and running project of Digitations of urban and rural mapping with GIS for Rajgarh (Dhar).
